Our Crufts celebrations of Tipsy’s title, and CC won by Audrey’s Locheil Just a Sweetheart, and all other Locheil success’s.
The dogs have a good life, spending time each day racing around the forests and glens surrounding our home. I hold a current Breeders License. In 2008, my friend Julia Alexander became a partner in the Locheil kennel name, this seemed a natural progression as she has been helping me for the past few years, showing the dogs and socialising and training youngsters. Julia is based in the North East of England, some of the dogs spend time with her, and her dogs with me, so they have the best of both environments.
We have world wide bloodlines offering the best in Border Collies, suitable for training in all spheres and winning well here in the UK and in many other countries.
If you want to contact me and discuss anything about Border Collies please email me on the link below. turnerlocheil@aol.com. I’ve been breeding Border Collies for 20 years, including the breed’s first and only full CH, Ch Locheil Look North. I’ve bred winners for lots of other people, including Sh Ch Locheil Enigma at Blackdimonz, quite a number are doing well in obedience and agility, also SARDA search and rescue dogs, and lots of much loved pets.
I’ve done a fair amount of T.V. work with the dogs, which is great fun, including the popular kids series ‘Jess the Border Collie’ I’ve judged Border Collies in the UK and Ireland, and was priviledged to be invited to judge at the First Border Collie National in Australia in 2006. I’m interested in Border Collies world wide and in 2006 competed at the World Show in Poland. I was privileged to handle Cruise’s mum, Tuisku, Am Ch Finnish Ch Pikkupaimenen Front Page News, to Best of Breed, at Crufts 2007. She arrived from Finland the night before, and very quickly formed a bond with me and showed her socks off to win at the best show in the world. Thanks Sari, she was a delight, a day I’ll never forget.
